Project United CDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community outreach. Our goals
are to provide public services to low and very low income individuals and
families in a manner that encourages individual growth, self-sufficiency,
self-respect and ultimately the economic growth and stability of our
community. Thereby, making a mark that cannot be erased.
Our goal is to be outcome driven, not activity driven. Participants experience a
change or benefit that makes a real difference to them.
We have discovered that most organizations do not provide services for
individuals and families who really need community support. Yet, most
contributors are quick to fund and only focus their funding on specific
organizations without realizing that they do very little to nothing in dealing with
the issues of our communities. Most organizations have become great at
providing stats and program numbers served paper trails. But, these
organizations care very little about the actual servicing of the communities
from where they are gathering their stats and numbers. As a matter of fact,
very few if any of these organization's staff members actually live in the
neighborhoods that they claim to serve. Statistics do not lie! But instead, they
speak the truth loud and clear. If organizations are making a real difference,
then, state and county stats should reflect making a real difference.
